Writing in ehospice Dr Claud Regnard, Honorary Consultant in Palliative Care Medicine at St Oswold’s Hospice in Newcastle, said that evidence from jurisdictions where assisted suicide/euthanasia has been legalised show that “access to palliative care remains inequitable and inconsistent”.
